Terms of Service

By using Paylor, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.

Paylor is a product of Webnixke Technologies. Our goal is to help clients, merchants, and other developers collect payments, reconcile transactions, and integrate M-Pesa and related APIs without having to run their own Safaricom Daraja setup from day one.

We provide software, dashboards, and APIs so your customers can pay you. We are a technology platform. We are not a bank and we do not take deposits.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

To use most features you need an account. You agree to:

• give accurate, current information when you sign up and keep it updated;
• verify your email before an account is created;
• keep your password, API keys, and webhook secrets confidential;
• tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account;
• take responsibility for activity that happens under your account.

Do not share your password or live API keys with people who should not have them.

Use Paylor only for lawful business. You agree not to:

• break applicable law, including rules on payments, fraud, and financial crime;
• send spam or unsolicited promotional messages through the Services;
• impersonate Paylor, another merchant, or any other person;
• process fake, unauthorised, or fraudulent payments;
• interfere with other users or with the security of the platform;
• add tills, paybills, or bank details you do not own or control.

For ordinary M-Pesa collections, money goes to the till, paybill, or bank destination you set. Paylor does not hold that money.

Global Payments is not active yet, and we do not yet know when it will be.

Some features are charged. You agree to pay the fees shown in your dashboard, contract, or pricing page. Network charges from M-Pesa or banks are set by those providers. We may decline or reverse a transaction if there is a pricing error, suspected fraud, or another good reason.

We may ask for identity or business documents so we can verify who is using the platform and keep the service safe. Providing them is your choice, but we may limit features if we cannot verify your account. Please give genuine information. How we handle that data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your own customers, including how you describe charges, refunds, and delivery. Paylor provides the technology to process payments. We are not a party to the sale between you and your customer, and you should use your own checks against fraud on your side.

The website, dashboard, APIs, branding, and content are owned by Webnixke Technologies / Paylor or our licensors. You may use the Services for your business under these Terms. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the platform without our written permission, except where the law allows it.

Your use of the Services is also covered by our Privacy Policy. By using Paylor, you agree to that policy.

Payments depend on partners such as Safaricom and banks. We do not control their networks. The Services may also link to other sites. Those sites have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

We work to keep Paylor available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Downtime can come from maintenance, partner outages, or internet issues.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or close an account if you break these Terms, if we suspect fraud or abuse, if a payment partner requires it, or if we need to protect the platform. When access ends, your right to use the Services ends.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we do not give implied warranties that the Services will always be error-free, secure, or fit for every purpose, or that every payment will succeed.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paylor and Webnixke Technologies are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability related to the Services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You are responsible for the legitimacy of your own customers and transactions. Our role is to provide the payment technology. We do not take on the commercial relationship between you and your customers.

You agree to protect Paylor and Webnixke Technologies from claims and costs that arise from your use of the Services, your content, your customers' activity, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally.

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will try to give reasonable notice, usually on the website or in the dashboard. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.
