Privacy Policy

Paylor is a product of Webnixke Technologies. We built it to help merchants and developers collect and reconcile payments. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website, dashboard, and APIs.

By using Paylor, you agree to this policy. If you have questions, contact us using the details at the end of this page.

Information you give us. This includes your name, email, phone number, username, password, business details, payment destinations (such as till or paybill numbers), and any identity documents you choose to upload.

Information we collect automatically. This includes device and browser details, IP address, pages visited, and security logs such as last login time.

Payment information. We receive transaction details needed to run the service, such as amount, reference, status, and timestamps from M-Pesa or other partners. Ordinary collections are paid to the destination you configure. We do not store card numbers on checkout unless a specific product says otherwise.

We use information to:

• create and run your account, dashboard, and APIs;
• send you a verification code when you sign up, and other service emails;
• process and reconcile payments;
• support you and send important service notices;
• keep the platform secure and reduce fraud;
• improve the product;
• meet legal duties that apply to us.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use identity documents for marketing.

We may share information:

• with service providers who host our systems, send email, or store files, only to operate Paylor;
• with payment partners such as Safaricom, so a payment can be initiated or confirmed;
• if we are required to respond to a valid legal request;
• to protect Paylor, our users, or the public from harm or abuse;
• if the business is transferred, with appropriate protections.

We do not publish your identity documents or share your account with other merchants.

You can:

• update your profile details in the dashboard;
• ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct inaccurate information;
• ask us to delete information we no longer need;
• opt out of marketing emails (service emails about your account may still be sent).

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords, HTTPS, access limits on identity documents, and contracted file storage. No internet service is completely secure, and we cannot promise that unauthorised access will never happen.

We keep account and transaction information while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can support you, fix disputes, and meet record-keeping needs. Identity documents are kept only as long as they are useful for verification and account security.

We aim to keep data in Kenya where we can. Some providers (for example email or file hosting) may process data in other countries. We expect those providers to protect it appropriately.

Paylor is for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features may not work.

For ordinary collections, money is paid to your till, paybill, or bank details. Paylor does not hold that money. Global Payments is not active yet.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Please check this page from time to time. Continued use of Paylor after an update means you accept the revised policy.
